American Beauty: Support USA Workers with a Make-Over, Made in the USA

Step 1: Keep your complexion looking supple and ward off wrinkles with Argan Oil Daily Moisturizer with SPF by Josie Maran.  This product doubles as a primer.  This beauty company manufactures their luxurious products in the US.  In addition to that all cosmetics are pure, gentle, non-toxic and eco-friendly.
Step 2: Try a new lipstick shade.   Jane Iredale Pure Moist Lip Color conditions as it colors.  Each of the 26 shades are flavored with mint and vanilla and contain antioxidants.  Lipstick was put on the back shelf for awhile but it’s getting attention again bringing us better formulas.
Step 3: Nothing opens up your eyes like a couple coats of mascara.  This step alone wakes up your face.  Try this USA made favorite, Maybelline Falsies.  In a rush I swipe a couple coats of this on paired with a light shade of eyeshadow along the brow line and  inner corner of my eyes.  Try it next time you need to fake the well rested look.
Step 4: Choose a new hairstyle.  Have a local stylist cut it and be sure to ask for tips to get the look at home.  Hairspray is usually a must to maintain most styles, Sebastian Shaper stands up to the job.
Step 5: Pull it all together with a pretty manicure.  Some of the leaders in the industry produce their nail colors in the US, including designer polish by Deborah Lippmann with beautiful colors in current shades.  Working with top designers and celebrities adds some unique colors to her repertoire of nail lacquer.
Like to leave your look up to the professionals?  Go for it.  Support your local stylists and economy by getting that blow out, pedicure and facial that makes you feel and look good.  Do some searching if you’re up to it and pick a salon that offers some products manufactured in the US.  Remember the label is a great guide in determining where a product was manufactured.
Lastly finish off your new look with some wardrobe updates.  USA Love List’s Fashion Editor, Jill Homiak, showcases current styles every week using clothing made in America.  Take a look through Made in USA Monday for some trendy, tasteful apparel and style inspiration, as always, all Made in the USA.
