Spring cleaning is an annual tradition at our house. It begins the first day the weather is warm enough (here in New England, that's 50 degrees!) to open every window in the house. The germs, dust, and grime of winter are let out as the freshness of spring blows in. Ha! If only spring cleaning was as easy as letting Mother Nature in to do all the dirty work!

I love using natural cleaning products. Sometimes I do make my own with vinegar and baking soda. I have been trying essential oils too.

Home made cleaning products are great as they do not cause any harm to hands. Synthetic cleaning products are very harmful for health.

In addition to old towels for cleaning I use old t-shirts as well. I’m a big advocate for reuse and recycle.

This may sound silly, but the only reason we don’t have a clothes line, is because I am afraid the clothes will get bird poo on them. Is that really a problem?
Hi Amy! If you put your clothes line away from trees you should have no problem with bird poo. I think I have only had one item hit in about 5 years. It’s my cat that I have issues with- she likes to pull things off the line!

I live in a condo in the city but so want that clothes line – sick of hanging clothes all over the house (door knobs, chairs….) to dry. What to do, what to do….
