April's almost here and that means Earth Month is quickly approaching. I love eco-friendly products, especially the ones I use everyday. In terms of eco-friendly, I think having them made in the USA makes them that much more appealing since there's much less transportation associated with products made here.  Here are four affordable made in USA eco-friendly home goods, each under $35.

Common Good first started making their products in their backyard in Brooklyn. All of their products use a 100% biodegradable formula with pure essential oil scents. They are a plant based formula and sulfate free. I particularly love that Common Good offers natural scents like lavender, balsam, and bergamot. I like that Common Good is one of the few, or perhaps only, eco-friendly brand that offers a glass bottle option. It makes the brand a perfect eco-friendly option in terms of reducing plastic waste.

Made in USA towels are pretty hard to find. It's probably due to the fact that 1888 Mills‘ factory in Griffin, Georgia is one of the only towel manufacturers in the USA. Lucky for us 1888 Mills offers organic towels, although the cotton is from Africa, or their 100% American made towels from the “Made Here” collection which is available at Walmart. The cotton used for the Made Here towels is grown in the USA.

I cannot tell you enjoy how much I love Rifle Paper‘s products. The graphics are so cheery and cute; they would certainly put a smile on anyone's face. Rifle Paper offers all things paper from thank you notes and birthday cards, to recipe cards, coasters and wrapping paper. Their products are made in Winter Park, Florida from FSC-certified paper stocks with recycled content, using environmentally responsible printers.
