Starbucks offers a bold plan for American jobs

My family and I are fortunate to be able to travel all over the USA in our motorhome. We travel off the main highways and we have seen a broad picture of American businesses of all kinds. We particularly enjoy taking the kids on factory tours and hearing the community pride in their locally made products. As the miles passed, I started thinking about what *I* could do. What could one small person could do to support American jobs and American manufacturing along with our small towns and struggling cities? I decided to start a shopping website dedicated to promoting the very best of American-made products. I wanted to make it easier for each person to do their own small part too. Starbucks is a part of this! Imagine my delight when, in the very same week, Starbucks launched their Jobs for USA campaign. In every store, they are selling these innovative, American-made wristbands (they also work as a hair band or a choker necklace) for a $5 donation. They give 100% of that donation to a network community-funding sources who then leverage that donation into $35 worth of funding available for loans in support of American jobs and community businesses.
