Here are a three simple fashion tips for fall to make it easy to transition your wardrobe for cooler temps:

  1. Layer, layer, layer. It makes your outfit pop and look complex, no to mention easy to go from day to night when temperatures change easily.
  2. Wear brights like burgundy, turquoise, royal blue, and plum. There's more than just black that will make you look good.
  3. Accessorize. You want to make your outfit memorable, and accessories are an easy way to do it without breaking the bank.

Fall Trends That Transcend Time

I love the animal prints for this season. Michael Stars Crew Neck Animal Print Tee caught my eye right away. It's soft, fits well, and comes in several colors. Couple it with leather pants for a look you can wear alone or layered every Fall. While it is an understated outfit, it will surely make you stand out.

Gold and Glitter are big this season. I am not a huge fan of wearing the color gold or glitter because they'd only works for select skin tones. If you're going to try your hand at the trend, I'd suggest rounding out your outfit with gold accessories, like the Chevron cuff from Eco Lustre and these “Connery” frames from Sires Eyewear.

Retro Hats are in. I LOVE this Bailey's of Hollywood “Codner” Fedora hat. It is listed under men's hats, but I think anyone could wear it because it has a relaxed look. It would totally complete an outfit, but particularly the one I've put together here.

Black Leather Pants are always “in”, and this season is no exception. Be bold about this trend, even if you are vegan or don't want to wear actual leather. I suggest Level 99 Janice Mid Rise Ultra Skinny Jeans in stretch lambskin leather (shown below) or the Liza Black-coated Faux Leather Skinny jeans.  Comfortable and chic, they will quickly became your “go-to” black pants this season.
