Lodge makes cooking, so, so easy and is great because the pots and pans don’t have any toxic coating on them. They are seasoned to be non-stick naturally. Note: always check the details before buying. The colorful Lodge enameled pieces are made in China, but the classic cast iron line is made in the USA.

    We use our cast iron every day. We have it seasoned perfectly.

  4. We do about 80% of our cooking in cast iron. Just love the way it cooks, and cleanup is even better. Just don’t do tomato in it, as i find the acid makes the iron taste leach into the food. Love my cast iron.

  7. We had an antique wood stove refitted to be fuel efficient, and I loved cooking with Lodge cast iron pans. Baked beans, stews, soups, breads… oh, so many good recipes. These sound wonderful, too.
