American Made Cast Iron Recipes We Love

Lodge Cast Iron Skillet Cornbread Recipe

If you’ve never cooked with cast iron, don’t be intimidated. Lodge Cast Iron is our favorite cast iron cooking brand because, well, it’s American made! Lodge makes cooking, so, so easy and is great because the pots and pans don’t have any toxic coating on them. They are seasoned to be non-stick naturally. Note: always check the details before buying. The colorful Lodge enameled pieces are made in China, but the classic cast iron line is made in the USA.

  4. We do about 80% of our cooking in cast iron. Just love the way it cooks, and cleanup is even better. Just don’t do tomato in it, as i find the acid makes the iron taste leach into the food. Love my cast iron.
