If you've never cooked with cast iron, don't be intimidated. Lodge Cast Iron is our favorite cast iron skillet cooking brand because, well, it's American made! Lodge makes cooking, so, so easy and is great because the pots and pans don't have any toxic coating on them. They are seasoned to be non-stick naturally. Note: always check the details before buying. Some of the colorful Lodge enameled pieces are made in China, but some of the colorful pieces and all of the classic cast iron line is made in the USA.

ME TOO! I HAVE THE LODGE CAST IRON PAN WITH THE RIDGES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PAN. IT’S A WONDERFUL PRODUCT.
These are so nice, and it brings back memories when we used to cook on a woodstove, or in the fireplace. No need for them, though, you can get that same country feeling by using these in your home cooking!! And I love Made in the USA! Made with skill and TLC!
A delicious London Broil recipe, made in a cast iron skillet, my many children would enjoy eating.
We had an antique wood stove refitted to be fuel efficient, and I loved cooking with Lodge cast iron pans. Baked beans, stews, soups, breads… oh, so many good recipes. These sound wonderful, too.
The Skillet Pancake with Fresh Blackberry Champagne Compote looks amazing!
These recipes look great! Love cooking in cast iron!
We do about 80% of our cooking in cast iron. Just love the way it cooks, and cleanup is even better. Just don’t do tomato in it, as i find the acid makes the iron taste leach into the food. Love my cast iron.
We use our cast iron every day. We have it seasoned perfectly.
That cornbread looks scrumptious! I love my cast iron pans and they are especially good for baking. 🙂
We always make fahitas in ours!
