Some of my daughter’s friends work at my local Ulta Beauty retailer, which is a big reason I enjoy going into an actual store. We get to catch up, share a few laughs, and I get to ask all my questions. They’re pretty patient with me because I typically have a lot of questions!
Ulta Beauty stores are readily found next to the grocery store or in locations where I need to run other errands, so I can hit several stores in one trip.
I’m also usually looking for other cosmetic items that I can buy either in the store or through the Ulta Beauty website. Also, I can grab several different sunscreens: a special sunscreen for the face; one for the body; a sunscreen formulated for the spouse; and a sunscreen for the kids.

Acure is a family-owned company with its manufacturing and product development facility located in New Mexico. Acure manufactures to the FDA's highest standards of Good Manufacturing Practices.
Andalou Naturals
Andalou Naturals has been making products in California since 1999. Ulta carries the brand's CannaCell Sun Buddy Facial SPF 30 online only.
Babo Botanicals
Ulta Beauty brings Babo Botanicals to its online store and offers five options. These products include lip balm, mineral sunscreen, mineral sunscreen for sensitive skin, and fragrance-free sunscreen. They are made in New York.
Black Girl Sunscreen
Black Girl Sunscreen offers two sunscreens through Ulta: its Moisturizing Sunscreen Lotion SPF 30 and one of our editor's favorites, the Make It Matte Sunscreen SPF 45. The products are reef-friendly, vegan, and water-resistant for 45 minutes.

Buttah Skin, a black-owned company, offers tinted sunscreen to women of color. It's available through Ulta's online store. Buttah Skin is safe for all skin types, is vegan and cruelty-free, and is completely made in the USA.
cocokind
You'll find cocokind's facial sunscreen lotion SPF 32 through Ulta Beauty's online portal. This sunscreen is safe for all skin types and is certified USDA organic.
cōTz
CōTz stands for "Contains Only Titanium and Zinc." All of its products use only the mineral sunscreen active ingredients Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide. These sunscreens are sheer, meaning although they offer amazing sun protection, they are a lightweight formula that won't feel greasy or heavy. You'll find five products through Ulta, including facial primer, lightly tinted sunscreen, and foam sunscreen.
Derma-e
Derma-e skincare products are 100% vegan, sulfate-free, GMO-free, and petroleum-free. Ulta offers three sun care products rich in vitamins while also protecting skin from the sun's harmful rays. Of particular note are the Sun Shield Booster Drops that contain vitamin E. Use on the fave for nourishment and protection.

Duke Cannon
Duke Cannon makes all its products in the USA, including this Supply Co Standard Issue Every Damn Day Face Lotion SPF 30. It’s formulated for men’s skincare needs and contains only a light citrus scent.
Jack Black
Jack Black is a popular product with the USA Love List editors, including this Oil-Free Sun Guard SPF 45 Sunscreen. It absorbs quickly into the skin, and it's water- and sweat-resistant so it won't run or drip into your eyes.
Jane Iredale
Jane Iredale has a long-established name for American-made cosmetics and skin care. The company also offers this Powder-Me SPF 30 sunscreen and refills in four shades. A facial sunscreen in powder form, you can wear it alone or over makeup. All formulations are made in the USA.

Mad Hippie
Mad Hippie brings seven sunscreen options to Ulta Beauty. Its formulations include lotion, spray, and pump options, along with clear and lightly tinted sunscreens for the face. Mad Hippie confirmed through an email that their manufacturing facilities exist only in the USA.
Pacifica
Pacifica offers several sunscreen options on Ulta’s online store. The Pacifica Beauty website shows images of each sunscreen’s product label that reads, “Made in the USA with global ingredients.” Pacifica Vegan Collagen Every Day Lotion SPF 30 is a blend of vegan collagen, aloe, hyaluronic acid, and flower extracts. Its sheer formula blends in easily. This product is one of seven Pacifica sunscreens sold through Ulta.
Sun Bum
Sun Bum American-made sunscreens are a personal favorite. Ulta Beauty features all 30 products made by Sun Bum, including its original SPF Sunscreen Oil that captures the fragrance of summer! We also like Sun Bum’s Tinted Lip Balm. The company's Signature line, Mineral line, Baby Bum SPF products, SPF Face Lotions, and Daily Mineral Sunscreen Moisturizer are all Fragrance-Free. Other products contain Sun Bum's proprietary fragrance that we think smells just like the beach!
