Skechers is one of the top footwear brands in the world for men, women, and kids, but where are Skechers made?
Skechers footwear was founded in 1992 by Robert Greenberg, who remains the company's CEO. Surprisingly, the first footwear product that Sketchers launched was not a sneaker, but a men's logger boot. Skechers rose to popularity in 1999 with its iconic Skechers Sport Energy line of sneakers for women and men. Today, Skechers' footwear line includes sneakers, sandals, boots, and even slippers in sizes for all ages.

ARE SKECHERS MADE IN THE USA?
Skechers USA, Inc. is an American footwear company headquartered in Manhattan Beach, California. Sketchers products are all manufactured in independent factories located overseas. These factories are mostly located in China and Vietnam, and, sadly, there are no factories located in the USA.

About two years ago, I bought two pairs of Skechers because they were incredibly comfortable. Earlier this year, I ordered another pair from Amazon, but I had to return them—they were too big and didn’t fit well around the ankle. I love Skechers shoes but I will never buy Skechers that are made in the USA. I am proudly Canadian and my love of the USA died with American attacks on my country.
I normally make my purchase base on USA MADE! Products. I will not buy sheckers ever again, I no longer support Nike’s. It’s disgraceful that we don’t make our own products. How shameful. I’ll be unsubscribing to this site.
