Skechers is one of the top footwear brands in the world for men, women, and kids, but where are Skechers made?
Skechers footwear was founded in 1992 by Robert Greenberg who is still the company's CEO. Surprisingly, the first footwear product that Sketchers launched was not a sneaker. It was a men's logger boot. Skechers rose to popularity in 1999 with its iconic Skechers Sport Energy line of sneakers for women and men. Today, Skechers footwear line includes sneakers, sandals, boots, and even slippers in sizes for all ages.

ARE SKECHERS MADE IN THE USA?
Skechers USA, Inc. is an American footwear company headquartered in Manhattan Beach, California. Sketchers products are all manufactured in independent factories located overseas. These factories are mostly located in China and Vietnam and, sadly, there are no factories located in the USA.

I BOUGHT A PAIR OF WORK RELAX FIT COTTONWOOD ELKS SHOES, AND AFTER A YEAR THE LEATHER OR VINYL ON THE SHOE ARE TEARING APART. FOR A PAIR OF $100 SHOES, I CAN’T BELIEVE THEY TORE SO EASILY. WILL NOT BUY THIS STYLE AGAIN, AND I WILL THINK TWICE ABOUT GOING TO SKECHERS SHOE STORE! ALSO, MY SOCKS WERE STAINED FROM THE INSIDE OF THE SHOE THAT WRAPPED AROUND THEM!
About two years ago I got two pairs of sketchers because they were so comfortable and I bought one from Amazon this year and I had to send them back because they were bigger and they didn’t fit good around your ankle. I will not be buying them anymore.
Now that I know Sheckers are made ourseas, I will not buy them any more. Besides $90. for a shoe that only takes $5 to make is ourrageous. That is why I never buy Nike’s’ also.
